Who am I?

My name is Joshua Barrs. I am currently a Senior at Chapman University studying Computer Science within the Fowler School of Engineering.
I am passionate about programming and merging Computer Science with Biology in the field of bioinformatics. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, creatively writing, and spending my free time with my family and friends

Passions and Interests

As mentioned earlier, I have a keen interest in merging my skills in development and my knowledge of data science with my love for Biology.

I am currently pursuing a M.S. in Computational and Data Sciences (with a Bioinformatics emphasis) through an accelerated course offered through Chapman University. I plan to finish the degree by Spring 2022.

I am hoping to combine my knowledge of molecular genetics and computer science to establish myself as a passionate bioinformatician.
